Did some serious playing around in Photoshop. Drew the alien in Flash and exported him into Photoshop. There's like three different outer space backgrounds and two planets on top of one another. Messed with the opacity options and different fx's. Still much to learn but please with the results.

Tried to channel cartoonist Sandra Boynton in the character design.

Have to say, I'm pretty happy with this cactus I copied from a Maurice Nobles layout.
Derp! Derp!

To be able to have animated my favorite cartoon character as a gif is a childhood dream come true. The Roadrunner and Coyote cartoons are what got me into animation.

(Layout based off Maurice Noble and Phil DeGuard)

Here's the original drawing I used to create the image below. I just played around with it to make it appear 3-D.

So I've been slowly teaching myself Illustrator. Here's a "pen tool"drawing using a limited color palette I pulled offline.
Slapped a Rocko sticker somewhere in Brooklyn.

I don't know what's worse. The fact that I took the time to make this, or that I went to school to learn how to make this.
Does this officially make me a street artist?

Colored version. Not too sold on the shoe and body color.
I like inking my characters with a looser line quality. It generally gives more personality to the character.

Wednesday, April 6, 2016

I don't draw enough girls. It's something I want to improve on and make more of an effort. Here's an attempt.

Tuesday, April 5, 2016

An old doodle page. Not sure if I ever posted it or not...
I did take and clean up the Garfield drawing from this though. It's somewhere on my IG page

I draw a lot of cartoon characters. This might be one of the weirdest things I have drawn in quite some time.
Drew this in a moving car while also filming it.
