Below is a screen cap from a short I am currently making in my 2D Production class. The story is about a clown who is trying to stop a girl from crying. Despite pulling out every trick in the book, the girl continues to cry and needless to say the clown is pretty fed up with her. I don't want to give away the ending...be on the look out for it. The piece is animated in Flash with Photoshop filters added to background elements and will be composited in After Effects.

*NOTE: I am more than aware that I have "promised" showing some works on my blog, "First Bite" for example, and haven't posted it. I will be creating a Vimeo page where I'll post not only FB, but this clown piece and others too. I will make an official announcement when this happens so be on the lookout!*

In the meantime, keep stopping by! Almost at 3,000 view posts which is super exciting!! I am so appreciative and grateful for you all stopping by and for your support!!! THANK YOU :)

  1. Ahhh Zak, Zak, Zak.
Halloween just wasn't the same without you here to sneak me candy when mom wasn't looking. Oh how I long for those days when you used to hold my ears out of the way when I would be puking in the backyard from eating the candy, paper wrapping and all. (Hey, what do ya expect? I'm a dog) Paige just laid on the sofa barking when the 2 kids came to the house, she didn't even lift her head off the pillow. And Isabel that "Goody Two Shoes" she was friendly and just had to say hello and that obnoxious wagging her tail thing she does. Hey, you know me, if I can't eat or attack it, I want to hump it!
P.S. The pic ain't too shabby.
As always, your faithful furry companion, Jack
P.S.S. Find out if dad is still mad at me but don't mention my name. When he was bent over picking up my poop in the back yard (I got him sooooo trained it's not funny) I tried to get "randy" with him. How was I to know his hemorroids were acting up, SHEESHHHH
